Holistic Personal Trainer and Coach

+++The participation in this training is not valid for the extension of a BODYART license+++.

The world of personal training has changed. Today, it is no longer enough to string exercises together for your clients. The knowledge of a personal trainer goes far beyond that.
From preventative health training to improving a client's overall physical condition and performance, a wealth of knowledge is required. This knowledge ranges from "picking up" the client where he/she is currently at, to accompanying him/her, to the goals the client is striving for. In addition, there are far-reaching consultations that allow the client to reflect and to be able to unlock additional resources on his own. Regeneration. Reflection and goal setting stand side by side in equal proportions.
Fitness meets far eastern medicine - the training is about being able to transfer the healing of disease patterns into one-to-one and small group training.
We will train you to be a holistic and professional personal trainer and coach and prepare you for your future clients. This high-quality training is led by Janni Giannikakis and Alexander von Hausen.

Prerequisite:
An already successfully completed basic training in fitness including anatomy and physiology:
Interest in medical contexts, willingness to work in a concentrated manner in theory and practice.

Duration:
You can expect a combination of attendance phase and self-study.
The training goes over six months with a total of 10 attendance days (three 3-day modules plus one exam day).

Description:
Fitness meets far eastern medicine - the training is about being able to transfer the healing of medical conditions into one-to-one and small group training. Topics of the three modules include therapeutic exercises and movements, the importance of breathing, meridian treatments and the use of small devices as well as kinesiotape basics.

Module I -Therapy Exercises and Movements
We start with the screenings and the correct approach and modification of exercises according to the focus and training status of the client's current health condition. With the appropriate breathing techniques, which are used as an important tool, all exercises can be controlled and differentiated.
The recognition and modification of muscular imbalances is (verbally and tactilely) brought to an improvement through the specific selection of exercises. Disease patterns that stress the client are given equal attention.

Topics in detail:

  • the importance of the fascia
  • the myofascial lines
  • the importance of breathing during training
  • getting to know and understanding clinical pictures
  • visual anamnesis
  • functional movement sequences to correct the imbalances
  • corrective exercises
  • wall work - Alignment

Module II - Qi Movements
The module Qi Movements offers an important additional training, in which simple massage techniques are used to support the physical and mental relaxation of the client.
In addition to the practical work, a lot of emphasis is placed on the quality of touch. This gives you the confidence to support your client in a professional way, even in his deceleration. The regeneration phase is essential for a healthy workout.

Topics in detail:

  • anamnesis
  • self-reflection: What can I offer?
  • joint mobilization of hands and feet
  • quality of touch
  • simple relaxation techniques for the front and back of the body
  • simple treatment of the bladder and stomach merdian
  • function of the Qi points
  • simple assignment of emotions to different areas of the body

Module III - Small Equipment with Performance Training
The next step leads to the training plans. These are explained, discussed and put together through practical work and case studies for different target groups. In addition to a health-conscious client, athletes, people in the rehabilitation phase or preventive training for performance athletes are also included.
To expand the training plans with the knowledge from the first module, additional small equipment is explained and used.

Topics in detail:

  • exercises with small equipment
  • mobilization exercises for joints
  • learning impulse therapy to align the spine
  • trigger points treatment
  • kinesiotape basics
